Just got Chimera

Well came across this game mentioned on the C&C boards. have to say on my first read through, its all looking very thoughtfully put together. I like that Classes are designed as a jumping off point for character development not an eternal straight jacket.
Also barbarian as race type (culture) is a good move. maybe we need civilised human too?

Hoping to play this game for sure as it seems ahead of C&C in terms of flexibility of character design yet true to the principle of a d20 based simplicity of play. NPC's would need more time to write up I suppose...but now the farm boy whose a superb shot with the sling and a dab hand at tracking and animal handling is a simple character to devise.

oh and monsters get a stst list e.g strength (hooray for that seemiingly small but so important piece of info!)

My only query at present is strength for dragons at +3 seems very tame - have i missed something about scale etc here, as a starting human could start with a str +3 too?
