Classic Hexographer Icons

Cartography: Older Schoolery

Hexographer is an excellent cartography package for creating hex maps of your campaign. The current version contains an updated set of hex tile icons, but if you’re interested in the old school look (which more closely resembles the iconography of the TSR Gazetteer series), you can download and install the original icon set here.

Instructions

Download and unzip the icon set (link below).

To install the icons, open a map and go to “Options” then choose “Load Hex Settings.”  Point the file chooser that appears at the “classic.properties” file  within the unzipped folder.  Save your map; this should save the icons for the current map, and any other maps during the same Hexographer session.

Yes! Thanks so much, this has been literally the exact thing that I was wishing the Hexographer had. Welshpiper to the rescue!

@Brenton : I should point out that I didn’t make these icons – just hosting them and making them available. That said, Hex it up!
